Do You Know Who You Are

In the world you are who the world says you are BUT in the kingdom you bear the image and DNA of God.

The world will try and tell you that you are still your past.
 The world will convince you that you are an orphan, and don’t really belong to anyone!

God says you are more than what the world perceives you as. You are an eternal being, and your past started long before your eternal body hit planet earth.

Your DNA is that of the image of God, a persons DNA tells their heritage and their family. Paul said in Romans 8 v 15 ‘For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!”

This scripture would have had specific meanings to both the Hebrews and the Romans.

For the Hebrews they had no word in their language for ‘adoption.’ The closest word they had, was the word YADA, which meant ‘to be revealed as who you were originally created to be.’ In Psalm 139 this is the word used when God said he knew us, also Jeremiah where God said He knew him before he was in his mother’s womb. God ‘yada’, revealed and declared who we were originally created to be, before we were in this earth and in this temporal body!

So for the Hebrews adoption meant a revealing of who Heavens DNA had always meant them to become.

Now for the Roman’s the word adoption conjured up a different picture. Only kings or Pharaohs adopted because they wanted an heir, and during the adoption process the judge would wipe the scroll with the child’s name and past totally away and write their name on it. The judge would then elect 7 tutors and governors who would then tutor the child in his new DNA and future.

These 7 tutors and governors which are spoken about in Galatians 4 v 2 are the 7 dimensions of the Spirit of the Lord spoken about in Isaiah 11 and the 7^th dimension in Ephesians 1, the Spirit of revelation.

So with ‘adoption’ in mind do you see how our real capacity is unexplored because it’s a new nature that came alive the moment Christ came into your heart by the Holy Spirit.

You are no longer merely human – you possess an aspect of the divine nature. Your recreated spirit is the real you, and in that part you bear His image.

As you behold the beauty of the Lord you are changed: ”But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the LORD” (2 Corinthians 3:18).

In he worlds system, which shapes our temporal life everybody losses their unique identity and becomes formed into its identity.

The world pressures you to conform. It tries to make you fit and be like everyone else in its godless system.

The kingdom challenges the bride to transform: to make you a living unique stone in a living temple.

You are a whole lot more than you think you are!

“When He appears you will see Him as He is and immediately be transformed to be just like Him ” (1 John 3:2).

When the Father adopted you, you received His DNA, and unique fingerprint of your identity, you are made of the same nature and material of your Heavenly Father. The adoption scrubbed out your old temporal life, gave you a new life and now your life is hidden in Christ.

You only need to see Him to be like Him.

You only need to receive His words to activate what you have already got.

You only need to see to be.
