Social Media is a wonderful and interesting concept, and I find it especially a great place to to connect with my clients and friends and even past school mates. Yet in saying that it can also be a place where you get judged openly and criticised fiercely, It’s also a place where I get cursed, judged and criticized the most. I remember my brother worked for IBM back in the early 70,s and he used to tell of this massive thing called a computer and the hard drive was the size of our lounge room and i still remember saying ‘ i will never have one of those in my home, ‘ now i have 2 in my handbag and of course a computer, laptop, iPad, iPod, iPhone all at home! I adore the internet and at my age have taught myself how to use many functions and i love FaceBook and I now know and realise that it’s a part of the calling on my life.
You see, when I came to know where God had positioned me and was aware of where my assignment would be, there also came a heightened level of understanding of who doesn’t want me there as well, and so everywhere I go I get judged, ‘how can you be a pastor, a prophet, and be in business,’ I get it often, even today some blessing wrote to me and said I must be angry with God to be in disobedience to be in business.’
It is my FIRM conviction that God has called many of us to a place of influence in the world, because in the world there are kingdoms, or spheres of influence, and basically there are 7′, some say more but the basic spheres are, government, education, religion, family, media, business, arts and entertainment. these spheres or kingdoms of influence mould the minds and culture of every generation and nation. if you question that look how Hollywood has moulded the minds of this generation, business, Nike, Apple etc and education we all know moulds the mind of our youth.
This assignment that I know I have been given in the kingdom or sphere of religion, business and media and the assignment each of us has been give in one or more of those spheres is very strategic on God’s part and it’s in our best interest that we fulfil it.
My assignment is in the place of influence called business and church/ religion. I’m also called to media. Some call these places of influence “Mountains” although I like to use the word Kingdom or sphere. It is through these strategic places of influence that thought is created, standards are upheld and mindsets are governing.
God sent righties a woman, with a stipe in her hair and a loud voice, right into the mountain of business, media and church. For me to just stay a preacher in a pulpit, a teacher in a church or even pastor of a local congregation would mean for me to ABANDON my post. Ironically, preacher, pastor, teacher and even apostle are some of my roles in the marketplace. I am not called to just be in church, but in all the spheres so if I go where the religious would like to box me in I sabotage my anointing. I also stop the breakthrough anointing from operating for my clients who have gone on to write books, start businesses and be successful by finding their passion and often through me who used my prophetic anointing in the marketplace.
I remember a pastor said to me you have lost your anointing now you have gone into the business world. It took me back but I realised I had to smile politely and say to myself no weapon or religious attitude will stop me and my assignment. So many Christians believe that church and state/ marketplace do not, should not connect, however Jesus said, “GO into all the world.” So tell me, where is all the world?
They’re at work, struggling and straining to get by. Many are trying so hard to perform the works of Christ that they forgot He already DID everything they need! THIS is where many of us have been called by God to go!
Many people struggle because they’re trying to perform or DO who they are in Christ and yet Jesus said to Nicodemous, BE. These are doctrines from hell! We don’t perform or DO Christ’s victory, we BE the victory! We don’t have to keep killing our old nature. How dead is dead?! It’s dead! Dead dead DEAD! Ever tried to talk to a dead person?! They’re dead!
Quit raising from the dead your old nature and also quit trying to perform your new life! By faith BE who you are in Christ! PUT ON the new man like you do a pair of Jeans, I wear them i don’t worry all day and wonder are they really on! Leave off the old dead man! You want to live a ridiculously amazing life?! Get a revelation of who you ARE, not who you’re trying to be, who you ARE in Christ just BE, and who you aren’t will grow dimmer & disappear!
The devil is terrified of people who courageously and confidently KNOW who they ARE in Christ and focus there all day! You’ll still have days where you stumble and fall but WE HAVE AN ADVOCATE! Get back up! When the enemy comes in with condemnation look him in the face and say “Get lost sucker! I don’t believe your lies!” The powerful brightly lit people we’re designed to be is IN Christ! Step in! Live in! Be in! When you stumble just say “Whoops! Wrong man! I’m new in Christ!” and get back on track!
Don’t go running around trying to cast every devil out from generations back to Adam, we all have stuff our great grandparents did, the world is full of sin, hello, but if I AM IN CHRIST, sin or curses, no longer live in me, I know it, I live it and I just be because of it! I remember a women telling me she was due to have deliverance prayer with her leaders the next day and she was terrified, I thought if this is living the life of Christ forget it! I do not live in fear nor do I live backward but IN HIM I LIVE,MOVE, and HAVE MY BE ing.
Another lie from the pit of hell to avoid- when GOD has called you to the mountain of Business and people tell you that you should be teaching in a church! When GOD calls you to GO to the business world, the media world, the world where all the lost live IGNORE the self righteous religious spirit that tells you to go “repent”‘. For seeking business and ‘money’.
Millions of poor and women in the sex trade freed each year by business people who make millions of dollars and are judged and are rebuked by broke self righteous religious people. My friends BE who GOD calls you to be and take your place where HE has assigned you! If you don’t go the devil will send someone who looks like you, talks like you, acts like you and will be happy to lead people to hell! The devil wants to make clones of the purpose of God.
Go make billions of dollars and create jobs and provide for the poor and rescue slaves out of bondage! GO GO GO! God says GO! Ignore the rest!
Maybe you’re anointed for business and didn’t realise that the CALL OF GOD on your life is right where you work. My advice for you? Do it! Do it with all of your heart.
I dream of creating a world where there are people who are anointed and know it to bring change. Will you join me? My friends… it’s time! It’s time to rise up and take our post wherever that post is.
